By downloading or using Authenticator App ("Service"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for personal and non-commercial purposes only, subject to these Terms.
You retain full ownership of the two-factor authentication secrets, passwords, and other information you store in the Service. This data is encrypted on your device, and we do not hold the keys required to decrypt it.
This means we cannot recover your data for you. If you lose your device, forget your passcode, or delete your backup, we have no technical ability to restore your codes or passwords. You are solely responsible for maintaining access to your device and for keeping an encrypted backup or your own recovery codes issued by the services you protect.
The Service generates standards-based one-time passwords compatible with many websites and applications. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google, Apple, Microsoft, Meta, Amazon, or any other service whose name may appear in the app or its listings. All trademarks belong to their respective owners, and names are used only to indicate compatibility.
Data breach alerts and security scores are provided for informational purposes only and are based on publicly known breach datasets. The absence of an alert does not guarantee that your accounts are secure, and we make no guarantee that every breach involving your data will be detected or reported.
Some features require a paid subscription. Payments are handled through the Apple App Store and are subject to their terms. Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple ID account settings. Refunds are managed according to Apple policies.
We may suspend or terminate your access for violating these Terms or misuse of the Service.
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While we apply industry-standard encryption and security practices, no method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Authenticator App is not liable for any damages resulting from the use of the Service, including loss of access to your accounts, loss of stored data, unauthorized access to your device, or reliance on security monitoring results.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
